The Utilities Division consists of Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, and Meter Reading. This division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of water lines, sewer lines (both Gravity and Force Mains), lift station maintenance, meter reading, meter replacement, and construction inspection. This division operates 41 lift stations and miles of water lines and miles of sewer lines and is staffed or on call 24 hours a day seven days a week for emergency repairs. The meter reading department reads over 10,750 meters per month and replaces or repairs meters annually. The meter reading department is also responsible for the turn ons and offs that occur daily.
